First you will want to open iTunes and connect the USB cord that was provided with your iPhone to your phone, then plug the other end into the USB port of your PC. The next thing that was done during testing was to determine how the iPhone could hold up to being dropped. Three separate tests were performed. During the first test the iPhone was dropped from waist level onto a carpet, the second from chest height over a linoleum floor, and third, it was dropped onto a concrete paved sidewalk from about 5 feet. It bounced several times and then landed with the screen facing down. None of these tests showed any functional damage to the iPhone, other than a few small scrapes on the casing.
