Transferring iTunes Music to iPhone

Many new iPhone users complain that they are not able to transfer music from their iTunes file that is located on their computer, to their iPhone. This is a common problem and is usually caused by settings that are saved to the phone. Some people try to solve this problem by syncing the iPhone with the computer, but find that this will not solve this issue either. Following are the steps that must be taken in order to be able to transfer music from your iTunes folder, to your iPhone. These steps are actually quite easy to perform and should only take a few minutes.

First you will want to open iTunes and connect the USB cord that was provided with your iPhone to your phone, then plug the other end into the USB port of your PC. As soon as iTunes recognizes your iPhone it will be listed in the “devices” section. Once this has occurred, click on the tab that says summary. There will be many options available to choose from but you will want to choose, “manually manage music and video”, then click apply. You will then want to choose “music” under your library which is found on the left. Once these steps have been complete, you should be able to start saving your music to your iPhone by highlighting, and dragging any of the songs you wish to move to your iPhone. In just moments you will be able to use your iPhone to listen to all of your favorite music.
